I recently enjoyed working with Rian Evers, Misha Koole, Julia Spoelstra and Clara van Eenooghe on a Keti Koti trail. This is the link to the site of Het Wilde Westen: https://www.hetwildewesten.nl/activiteit/keti-koti
I am very happy with the result, the fine cooperation, the wise words and the enthusiasm of the children of group 6 and 7 of the 2e Marnixschool in Utrecht!
This is the acoustic version of my previously unreleased song, Ghost Town. This is the acoustic version of my previously unreleased song, Ghost Town. Steve Savage and I played a few songs together on my houseboat, and this is the first in the series. Perhaps there will be a studio version someday. Steve's beautiful guitar lines make this version particularly special.

Born in Rotterdam and after sailing on various ships with her partner for 16 years, Sioe feels a deep connection with the river, the ships and the sea. At the end of 2022 she released her debut album The Waves Of Time, with clear influences from the music of Laurel Canyon from the 70s, with which she creates a unique sound of her own. Her moving way of writing and singing touches people. Her songs deal with universal themes such as (lost) love, loneliness and the struggle of life, but she also does not shy away from emotionally charged subjects such as incest and the history of Indonesia - and more universally: that of refugees.
“Whenever I listen to her, live or on record, I am impressed by the power of her songs. She takes you on her journeys, makes you share her doubts and grants you a glimpse into her soul. Intimate, sincere and moving - this is how I experience SIOE's work”- Constant Meijers, author, (music) journalist (including OOR)
“I experience the music as sincere and empathetic. It really gets to me” – Michiel Dutilh, musician and piano teacher
“Pure singer-songwriter with a charming stage personality. She writes beautiful, lived-through songs with catchy melodies and has a voice that really touches you”- Martine Soethout, OCW
“Beautiful ‘little’ songs with big emotions” – Marion B., visitor
“Original singer-songwriter who writes songs that are very close to her and moves her audience alternately on guitar and piano. She knows how to bring the atmosphere of the album live effortlessly” – Willem Liek, visitor
